ProLaw SSRS Complex Report Writing Services

The main function of the Document Retention Archive Utility is to select documents from ProLaw for removal from your firm’s SQL or Document Storage server, with no copies left on your firm’s server. Once removed from the server, documents can be stored outside of ProLaw, or deleted entirely, according to your firm’s document retention policy. Matter notes and document events can be deleted as well.

As a .NET application, the Document Retention Archive Utility resides quietly on your firm’s SQL or document storage server until it is needed. There is no slowdown of your firm’s server. The utility automates the removal of old documents to a designated storage location. This process provides the following benefits:

  • Reduction in data backups since archived documents are relatively static
  • Synchronized data storage to adhere to your firm’s records retention policy
